DAMASCUS - TEHRAN - train - Interrail

From DAMASCUS to TEHRAN by train.
Information for travellers with normal train ticket travelling the route Damascus (Syria) to Tehran (Iran).

Train connection from Damascus to Tehran. Direct night train available once per week.
Journey time: 2 1/2 days
Fare: ~EUR 60 including sleeper (Damascus - Tatvan) and couchette (Van - Tehran). The part Tatvan - Van is done by ferry (included in the full ticket).

Important: due to the political situation in Syria, the train may not run.
