Seat Reservations with Bahn UK

Seat Reservations with Bahn UK

Postby Beadle10 » 22 Jun 2012 - 22:43

I have just booked Innsbruck to Munich (via Mittenwald) train with Bahn UK but it did not allow me to make a seat reservation. I now understand that if booking with Bahn tit cannot be done for this train! My question is . . . which site should I use to rebook this train WITH a seat reservation? Many thanks to anyone who can help!

Hi.
If you travel with the direct EC trains, you don't need a seat reservation traveling with a rail pass. Save your money!

Thank you but I don't have a rail pass . . . have bought an individual ticket. Does this make any difference or am I still ok without a reservation. By the way, this is the 'long' route . . . running as REX 5420 up to Mittenwald, then as RB 5420. Sorry to appear so ignorant but this is my first time using trains abroad! Thanks

Hi,

this train is a regional train (REX/RB) - no reservations possible! Just take a seat and enjoy. Starting from Innsbruck I would recommend to sit on the left side. :)
